Testing Dates:
Tuesday, April 14th - 6th - 8th grade Reading Language Arts (RLA)
Thursday, April 16th - 8th grade Social Studies

Tuesday, April 21st - 8th grade Science
Wednesday, April 22nd - 6th-8th grade Math 

What to expect:
The gate opens at 7:10. Come eat your free breakfast in the courtyard!
All students will report to the middle school campus by 7:30. 
Do not go to athletics if your grade is STAAR testing. 

Students will get their Chromebooks and report to their assigned testing rooms.
A snack and bottled water will be provided. You may refill the bottle at the fountain. 
In order to keep the noise and mess to a minimum, outside food and drinks won't be allowed in the testing room.

The dress code still applies. Please come to school in appropriate clothing (no pajamas), and do not bring phones, smart watches, bluetooth headphones, blankets, or items that might create distractions. 

​Parents: 
​Please call the office if you need anything. 
​Our ​main entrance will be closed to avoid disrupting the ​classroom next to it. 
​We won't be accepting visitors or deliveries until testing ​is complete.

Tips for success: 
Remember that this is just one measure of learning - not a reflection of who you are! 
It's ok to feel nervous. Use that energy to perform your best!
If you feel overwhelmed, take some slow, deep breaths. You're safe. 
It's ok to mark questions for review and come back to them later.
